Our impact

As the Swiss business and networking platform, we bring all the key players from Switzerland – including Ticino and Romandie – together for exchange within a single day in Bern. We give a powerful voice to founders, entrepreneurs, investors, universities, public and private enablers, and politicians and address current challenges.

Our collective efforts have a significant impact across various areas: We work towards enhancing the framework conditions that support the growth of the Swiss startup ecosystem. That includes increasing venture capital, promoting Swiss entrepreneurs to innovatively explore and develop deep tech solutions, and fostering female entrepreneurship while promoting diversity through our initiative, Collective.

Committed to sustainability

The startup days owners, LINDEN 3L AG, are committed to reducing the environmental impact of the conference for a future worth living in. With the belief that every step counts in decreasing our footprint, the following actions are implemented in the execution: The Kursaal uses green energy from hydropower. We only offer vegetarian and vegan food. Furthermore, we rent our decoration in a second-hand-store. Additionally, all attendees receive the Greenrider guide which presents five tips and actions on how to reduce the CO2 footprint as a collective. With the CO2 balance of myclimate we precisely measure our carbon emissions to gain a clear understanding of our environmental impact. We continuously strive for sustainability.

Our history

The conference format, startup days, was founded and first held in 2004 by the non-profit association Startup INVEST. Since 2021, LINDEN 3L AG, led by Dominik Isler and Fabian Wassmer, has assumed responsibility for the implementation and further development of the platform. Whereas LINDEN 3L AG finally bought the startup days in 2022.
