Alex Nikitine heads the corporate / M&A team at Walder Wyss. He mainly deals with national and international M&A transactions, public takeovers, IPOs and other types of issues (ECM and DCM), private equity and venture capital transactions, corporate governance and general corporate, stock exchange and capital market law. He has been involved in numerous transactions in these areas over the past 15 years, particularly in the life sciences, banking and e-commerce sectors.

He is a member of the examination board for the tax expert examination and is a recognized representative in accordance with Art. 43 Listing Rules at the SIX Swiss Exchange.
Alex Nikitine studied at the University of Basel (lic. Iur., 2000), at the Harvard Law School (LL.M., 2004) and he did his doctorate at the University of Zurich on Swiss and US company law (Dr. iur., 2007). He worked at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York, USA in 2009.
